Chad: How are you doing, Jason?

    제이슨, 어떻게 지내?

Jason: Chad, what are you doing out so la-te?

    채드, 자네 이렇게 밤늦게 밖에서 뭘 하는 거야?

Chad: I had it out with my wife, so I had to -leave the house.

    난 아내랑 한바탕 싸워서  집을 나와야 했어.

Jason: That's not youe style. What's the

problem?

    자네답지 않네. 무슨 문제야?

Chad: I had to do something before she

goes through all our money.

    아내가 내 돈을 다 써버리기전에 내가 어떻게든 나서야 했어.

Jason: So, she's out of control, huh?

    자네 아내 통제가 안되는 거야?

Chad: Yeah, but I really don't like doing it.

    그래, 하지만 정말 내가 나서고 싶지 않거든.

Jason: I hope it helps.

    자네가 나선 효과가 있으면 좋겠네.

Chad: Me too. It's really the only thing we

disagree about.

    나도, 우리가 동의 하지 않은 부분은 정말그것 뿐이거든.

Jason: You're lucky if that's your dnly prob-lem.

    그것만이 문제라면 자넨 행운인 거야.

     특별한 응용

 *to have it out with (one):~와 싸우다, 격론을 벌이다

"I'm going to have it out with my boss if I don't get a raise."

(봉급을 안 올려주면 난 상사와 한바탕 격론을 벌일 겁니다.)

 *go through (something):~을 다 쓰다

"My son and his friend went through all of

our food last weekend."

(제 아들과 그 친구가 지나 주말 우리집에 있는 음식을 다 먹어치웠습니다.)

 *to be out of control: 통제 불가능 하다, 속수 무책이다

"Govermant spending has been out of control for a few years."

(정부의 지출은 몇년째 통제가 불가능합니다.)
