불행은 판단기준에 불과하지 [피셔씨].

"You are unlucky so that I may know that I am not.

너가 불행하다고 말하는 것은 나는 그렇지 않을 것이라고 생각하게 하려는 것이겠지.

"Unfortunately, the lucky never realizes they are lucky until it's too late.

하지만 안타깝게도 행운을 가진 사람은 자신이 행운아라는 것을 알아차렸을 때는 이미 너무 늦었어.

"Take yourself, for instance. Yesterday, you are better off than you are today, but it took today for your to realize it. But today has arrived, and it's too late.

자신을 예로 들어봐. 오늘은 너에게 있어서 어제보다 훨씬 낫지만, 오늘에 이르러서야 비로소 그것을 깨닫게 되지. 허나 벌써 오늘은 이르렀고 때는 이미 늦었어. 

"You see? People are never happy with what they have. They always want what they had, what someone else has."

이해하겠나? 사람들은 자신들이 소유하고 있는 것만 가지고는 절대 행복하지 못해. 그들은 항상 자신들이 소유했던 것, 다른 이들이 소유하고 있는 것들을 원하지.

"I am a bad man who doesn't waste time wondering what could've been when what could've been and could not have been. I live on both sides of the fence. My grass is always green."
