“Because the paths to the Lord are inscrutable
Because the essence of His forgiveness
Lies in His word and in His mystery
Because although God sends us the message
It is our task to decipher it
Because when we open our arms
The earth takes in only a hollow and senseless shell
Far away now is the soul in its eternal glory
Because it is in pain that we find the meaning of life
And the state of grace that we lose when we are norn
Because God, in His infinite wisdom, puts the solution in our hands
And because it is only in His physical absence,
that the place He occupies in our souls is reaffirmed."
하나님께 이르는 길들은 불가사의하고
그분의 관용의 근본은 그 말씀과 신비속에 있으니
비록 하나님께서 우리에게 메시지를 보내셨다하나
그것을 찾는 것은 우리의 사명이니라
우리가 모든 것을 버리고 가는 것은
땅은 텅빈것만을 받아들이기 때문이며
지금 떠나는 영혼에게 영광이 깃들음은
고통속에서 인생의 참뜻을 알았기 때문이며
우리가 태어날 때 추하게 나는것은
신께서 그 무한한 지혜로 우리의 손안에 해결책을 주셨기 때문이며
그 육체를 버리는 것은그가 우리의 영혼 속에 남아있기 때문이다.
