오랫동안 기다렸던 단비가 메마른 땅 위에 이제 막 뿌려지기 시작하여
어마어마하게 굽이치는 강이 있는 곳으로 골짜기를 이루어가네
빗줄기가 이루는 골짜기처럼 나 또한 이곳 강이 흐르는 곳으로
인도되었네
나의 심장은 뛰는 듯하고 나의 무릎은 마치 벼랑 끝에 몰린 것처럼
힘을 잃으며
내가 알게 된 것은 벼랑 끝에 내가 한 번 몰리게 되면 더 이상
돌이킬 수 없다는 것이네
이런 급박한 상황 가운데 나는 내게 말씀하시는 한 말씀을 들었네
이제는 믿음으로 뛰어들어야 한다는 그 말씀...

그들의 심령에 살아가기에, 또 그것을 위해 목숨을 버리기에도 가치가 있을 것들을 줄 수 있네
그러나 우리는 우리 스스로를 이 거룩한 홍수에 잠기게 할 때까지는
하나님 은혜의 그 위대한 능력을 깨닫지 못할 것이네
그러므로 만일 당신이 내 손을 잡고 눈을 감으며 셋을 세고
믿음으로 뛰어든다면 그것을 깨닫게 될 것이네
자 이제 와서 함께 나아가세
