Learning English in English is not much of a problem.

I mean, it might increase the familiarity and understanding of the language.

But, What the present president wants to do is to learn everything in English.

Is this Reasonable?

How many of you think you can do much better in the English-speaking Environment?

It takes at least several year to have clear hearing of the other language, and to speak and write

take another few years.

I'm talking about at least 6~7 years right now.

This is just a period to adapt the english-speaking environment alone.

Doing good in school is a wholly another problem.

Also, keep in mind that school life dominates people's life.

You go to school for at least 12 years of your life.

If you use 12 years to study another country's language, then young generation will have different

perspective on their nationality.

English is useful language to learn.

But it is not Korean

I'm living in Canada right now, but I never thought for a second that I'm not Korean.

I'm Korean, I speak Korean

I'm proud of being Korean.

Learning English is not a problem. It is somewhat essential as a international society gets closer.

But, Don't abandon Korean in school life.

It is foundation of what the Republic of South Korea is right now.

I talked about this with my friend around me.

They laughed.

They think it's totally ridiculous and someone's out of whack

They all agree that language represents the very essence of the nation.

English is just a mix of many language in Europe.

Korean is unique language that our ancestor created and is one of easiest and beautiful language ever.

Now, I didn't mean to drag on the issue.

It is just a possibility that shouldn't happen at all.

I only read someone's writing mentioning that English should be taught in school instead of Korean.

What kind of F--ed up person would write such thing?

English is useful because people use it.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't learn English

But english and Korean has significant difference.

Korean is what makes people to be a part of Korea.

And don't even write such blasphemy saying we should use English to teach children.

You're either f--ed in the head, or just plain stupid.
