휘성 ‘인썸니아(불면증)’

가수 휘성이 한국어 버전으로 소화한 'insomnia'(불면증)가 공개 직후부터 폭발적인 반응을 얻고 있다. 지난 17일 최초 공개된 휘성의 디지털싱글 'insomnia' 뮤직비디오는 공개와 동시에 싸이월드 실시간 검색어 1위, 베스트 동영상 1위, 실시간 뮤직차트 1위에 오르며 뜨거운 인기를 모으고 있다. 크렉데이빗의 동명곡을 한국어 버전으로 재구성한 'insomnia'는 최근 유럽에서 유행하는 베이스라인 트렌드에 기반을 둔 밝고 경쾌한 댄스팝 장르의 곡으로 중독성 강한 멜로디가 특징이다.네티즌들은 "보고 또 보고 싶은 중독성에 잠 들 수 없을 것 같다" "휘성이 빨리 세계시장으로 진출해 그 기량을 인정받았으면 좋겠다" "역시 휘성이다" 등 의견을 게재하며 칭찬을 아끼지 않고 있다.휘성 소속사의 한 관계자는 "'insomnia'의 중독적인 멜로디는 기존 후크송과는 다르기 때문에 더욱 신선함을 느끼는 것 같다. 휘성과 크렉데이빗 두 사람의 매력을 비교한다면 또 다른 재미를 느낄 수 있을 것"이라고 전했다.휘성은 "그 어느 때보다 긴장감이 컸는데 기대 이상의 평가를 해 주셔서 감사하다"며 "더 좋은 모습을 보여드리겠다"는 다짐을 밝혔다.
