내가 내종 다윗을 찾아 나의 거룩한 기름을

부었도다

I have found David my servant;

with my sacred oil I have anointed him.

내손이 저와 함께하여 견고히 하고

내 팔이 그를 힘이 있게 하리로다

My hand will sustain him;

surely my arm will strengthen him.

원수가 저에게서 강탈치 못하며

악한 자가 저를 곤고케 못하리로다

No enemy will subject him to tribute;

no wicked man will oppress him.

내가 저의 앞에서 그 대적을 박멸하며

저를 한하는 자를 치려니와

I will crush his foes before him

and strike down his adversaries.

나의 성실함과 인자함이 저와 함께하리니

내 이름을 인하여 그 뿔이 높아지리로다

My faithful love will be with him,

and through my name his horn will be exalted.

내가 또 그 손을 바다위에 세우며

오른손을 강들 위에 세우리니

I will set his hand over the sea,

his right hand over the rivers.

저가 내게 부르기를 주는 나의 아버지시요

나의 하나님이시요 나의 구원의 바위시라 하리로다

He will call out to me, 'You are my Father, my God,

the Rock my Savior.'

내가 또 저로 장자를 삼고

세계 열왕의 으뜸이 되게 하며

I will also appoint him my firstborn,

the most exalted of the kings of the earth.

저를 위하여 나의 인자함을 영구히 지키고

저로 더불어 한 나의 언약을 굳게 세우며

I will maintain my love to him forever,

and my covenant with him will never fail.

또 그 후손을 영구케 하여

그 위를 하늘의 날과 같게 하리로다

I will establish his line forever,

his throne as long as the heavens endure.
