그러나 악인이 만일 그가 행한 모든 죄에서 돌이켜 떠나

내 모든 율례를 지키고 정의와 공의를 행하면 반드시 살고 죽지 아니할 것이라

But if a wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed

and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die.

그 범죄한 것이 하나도 기억함이 되지 아니하리니 그가 행한 공의로 살리라

None of the offenses he has committed will be remembered against him.

Because of the righteous things he has done, he will live.

주 여호와의 말씀이니라

내가 어찌 악인이 죽는 것을 조금인들 기뻐하랴 그가 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나 사는 것을 어찌 기뻐하지 아니하겠느냐

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD.

Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

돌이키기만 한다면,
