A group of professional people posed this question to a
group of 4 to 8 year-olds,
4살~8살의 아이들에게 물었다.

What does love mean?
사랑이 뭐라고 생각하니?

우리가 상상했던 것보다 답들은 훨씬 더 깊고 넓었다.

"Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but
you don't yell at them because you know it would hurt their feelings."
사랑이란 누가 나에게 상처주는 말을 하거나 날 아프게 해서 내가 너무나 화가 나도 그 사람에게 소리를 지르지 않는거에요. 왜냐하면 내가 그러면 그사람 기분이 나빠질테니까요.

takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."
사랑이란 엄마가 아빠를 위해 커피를 끓인 후 아빠에게 드리기 전에 맛이 괜찮은지 한모금 맛을 보는거에요.

are still friends even after they know each other so well."
사랑이란, 서로에 대해 너무나 많은걸 알게 된 후에도 아직도 친구인 노여인과 노인 같은거에요.

사랑이란, 우리 강아지가 나를 핥아대는거에요,
하루종일 혼자 집에 내버려 두었는데도 말이죠.

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and scared. I
looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy
waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I
wasn't scared anymore."
피아노 발표회때 전 너무나 떨리고 무서웠어요. 관중석에서 사람들은 절 모두 쳐다보고 있었는데 우리 아빠가 나에게 손 을 흔들며 미소짓고 있는게 보였죠.
그러고 있는 사람은 아빠 한사람 이었어요. 전 더이상 무섭지 않았어요.
