한국인 여성 포함 이례적[조선일보]최근 미국 ‘피플’지가 선정한 ‘아름다운 50인’ 중에 mtv 뉴스 리포터로 활동하는 재미 한국 여성 박수진 (28)씨가 포함됐다. 피플지는 ‘아름다운 50인’으로 할리우드 톱 스타 브래드 피트와 제니퍼 애니스턴 부부, 할리 배리, 캐머런 디아즈 등을 선정했다. 배우·모델 출신의 서양인들이 즐비한 이 리스트에 연예인도 아닌 한국 여성이 포함된 것은 극히 이례적이다.
박씨는 ‘마이 라이프’라는 다큐멘터리 프로그램도 맡아 진행하는 방송인. 그녀는 다섯 살 때 부모와 함께 미국으로 건너가 버클리대학에서 정치학 박사학위까지 받은 재원으로 알려졌다. 박씨는 피플지와의 인터뷰에서 “(주변에 동양인이 없어) 내 피부색에 맞는 화장법도 배울 데가 없었다”며 “메이크 업보다는 몸매를 가꾸는 일에 신경쓰는 편”이라고 말했다. 또 박씨는 “전체적으로 마른 편이지만 어머니가 ‘밥배’가 나왔다고 놀려, 탄수화물 섭취를 줄이고 단백질 위주의 식사로 탄탄한 배를 만들려고 노력 중”이라고 털어놓기도 했다. ? http://www.mtv.com/news/correspondents/pak/ ?
