자신의 믿음에 대한 정직한 의심과 고민이 진지하게 해결되는 과정은 깊고 견고한 믿음으로 가는 길임을 나는 의심치 않는다.
작가는 이러한 갈등과 어려움을 소개하면서 자신과 주변 이야기를 풀어나가고 있고, 또 그 해결 과정을 다루고 있는데, 나는 특히 그 '솔직한 의심'에 대해서 많은 부분을 공감했다. 그렇지만 그러한 의심이 해소되는 과정은 그의 개인적인 면이 강해서 그랬는지, 깊이 느껴지지 않는 부분도 상당했다.
영성의 다양성과 다름을 이해하고 포용하면서도, 자신이 먼저 그렇지만은 않은 현실에 부딪쳐서 어쩌지 못해 한숨 쉰다는 그의 고백은 여전히 인상적이다...
It was time to be sure how various Christian spirituality is.
I hope this is to ask some people who go in God without
their own belief nor inward agony ,but with stranger's to think
about the 'devotion' again.
To go through with a geuine doubt about its own 'trust' in God
will be certainly the way to a deep and firm one and I'm sure
of it.
The author is describing his real struggling throughout his life
and showing each settling process dealing its background and
I fully understood it. Meantime it was quite difficult to experience his whole story, it seems because it was based on his own.
However I'm still impressed his deep sigh that was caused by
irresistable present although he knows and accepts of variety
