Memorial for "a man of action"
24 May 2006 -- More than 1000 people packed into the Basilique Notre-Dame in Geneva today to attend the funeral of Dr LEE Jong-wook and to hear tributes to his life and work.
During the service, Dr Lee's son, Tadahiro, described his father as "a man of action", whose adventurous spirit led him to "experience more, see more, and do more."
Dr Bill Kean, head of Dr Lee's office, spoke about the quiet ways Dr Lee took care of people, and of his passion for work, literature, sports and nature.
