Michael Hoppe는  

유명한 portrait 사진작가 Emil Otto Hoppe의 손자인데 

그의 할아버지가 찍어놓은 작품들, 당시에 세계적으로 이름을 날린 배우,  

귀족, 정치가 등의 빛바랜 사진들 속에서 낭만과 사모의 정이 가득한 영감을 담아 음악을 만들어 나가는 것으로도 유명하다. 

그 대표적인 앨범으로

Romances" 등이 있다.
