He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths

Enwrought with golden and silver light

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths

(어둠과 빛과 어스름으로 수놓은)

Of night and light and the half-light,

(파랗고 희뿌옇고 검은 천이 있다면,)

I would spread the cloths under your feet:

(그 천을 그대 발 밑에 깔아드리련만)

But I, being poor, have only my dreams; 

(나는 가난하여 가진것이 꿈뿐이라)

I have spread my dreams under your feet;

(내 꿈을 그대 발 밑에 깔았습니다.)

Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

(사뿐히 밟으소서, 그대 밟는 것 내 꿈이오니.)
