Narration: Two hours later, it was time for the opening-day party. It was lovely. Caviar, silent auctions and land mines.

Big: Where is Paul Bunyan?
▶폴 번연은 어디 있어?

Carrie: If you're referring to my boyfriend, he's doing business.

Big: Ooh, he's a bigot! Where did he learn to whittle like that?
▶멋지던데. 나무 깎는 건 어디서 배웠대?

Carrie: How many drinks have you had?
▶몇 잔이나 마신 거예요?

Big: Not nearly enough. So... how are you?

Carrie: I'm great.

Big: And Daniel Boone, is he a nice guy?

Carrie: His name is Aidan.

Big: Guarding her bid on the silent auction. She's got her eye on a beige chair. Everything in my apartment is now beige. Beige is bullshit.

Carrie; I thought you wanted beige.
▶베이지를 원하는 줄 알았는데요?

Big: Yeah, well... It doesn't quite fit. Have you got a smoke?
▶그게... 잘 맞지 않더군. 담배 있어?

Carrie: I quit.
▶끊었어요.

Big: Oh, we always used to share a cigarette together.
▶우리는 담배 한 대를 나눠 피곤 했었지.

Carrie: We did a lot of things that were bad for me together.
▶내 몸에 안 좋은 짓만 골라서 같이 했죠.

Big: I have a secret to tell you. It's not working. I'm getting out. If you know anyone who's interested...
▶비밀 얘기가 있어. 잘 안 되고 있어, 헤어질 거야. 혹시 관심 있는 사람이 있다면...

Carrie: You should really keep that to yourself. No one is interested in that information.
▶입 다무는게 좋겠네요. 아무도 그런 정보에는 관심 없으니까.

가구 전시회 개막파티에서 술에 잔뜩 취한 빅은 캐리에게 비밀정보를 알려 주겠다며, 부인과 헤어질 거라 말을 하는데…
