The activities of instructing or educating is called education. To go to the school and got degree is not only an education but we can learn many things at home, workplace and anywhere and anytime. To share the feelings of our life is also educating each other.
I've seen that Korean students are great. Why I'm saying great is that they really study too much hours a day. Almost all high school students do their best to enter the university and they don't have time to sleep but just entering to the university is not the end of life. It's just an another step and there are thousands of steps in our life. Our life is itself a ladder of millions of steps. We should climb up the ladder one by one in our whole life. The university entrance exam in Korea is just around the corner and thousands of millions of students are frightening if they are able to go to the university they wanted to enter.
Some of my Korean friends have their kids and they go to the elementary school. It means they are just 8or9 years old. They go to the school and after school, go to the Hagwon (This is just like the institute where students are taught different things like music, english, mathematics, Taekwondo and so on). They go to the school around 8AM in the morning and return home after or around 9PM. But, in case of middle school students or even some elementary school students, they go to the at least 5 institutes. Especially, Korean parents are investing their too much money for English and they want their children could use english fluently. Every parents want their children better than anyone else. But this kinds of teaching practise is too much for a child. Even they can't speak fluent Korean, why parents expect them a fluent english speaker? Yes, english is a second language in almost all countries and it would better if we learn english well but ENGLISH is not all. If someone is interested in it, he/she will learn it like we don't need to teach anyone to empty their bladder, to speak, to walk, to eat and something. There is the great role of parents how to grow their children but children can't grow well if they got too much stress or pressure of something. Parents are investing their one fourth money of their income for their children's education. We have to invest our money for our kids interest but not our wishes. If our children are interested to go to the piano learning institute, we should send them. If they want to learn english, we should send them to the english language institute. If they want to play Taekwondo, we should send them to the Taekwondo institute and so on.
LETS SUGGEST OUR CHILDREN AND SHOW THEM A RIGHTEOUS WAY BUT DON'T MAKE THEM THE VICTIM OF OUR DESIRE.
