A letter is a WRITTEN message to a person or organization or anyone else. Letter was the first and best media of sharing our views and news some years ago. But these days, we can find the different explanation of letter. A letter is a message to a person or organization or anyone else. We don't include WRITTEN these days. It means we don't write but we type it in the computer or fax or text message or others medias.

Yesterday, I was live on air in EBS radio in “한창완의 학교 종이 땡땡땡”. It's a new programme and it always talks about the hot issues and old memories. Especially, this programme is related to the school life in old days and now. Yesterday's topic was LETTER and I was chosen as a guest in that programme.

Just a few years ago, I used to write snail mail to my parents, my friends and so on but these days I just send e-mails or talk to them on the phone. The world is becoming so comfortable and we don't do the old things. But, we all become very happy if we got the snail mail or hand made greetings. There is the difference between digital message and analogue message. I got some snail mails from my Korean penpal friends some years ago. I still have those letters even we are keeping in touch by minihompy or e-mail. One of my friend from Taiwan, who is also keeping in touch through the internet and phone call, has sent me the Christmas card last year. It reminds me the school life. Even though, it's 21st century, our spirit or feeling is not that much changed. We want somebody will call us, send the letter, write the email or something else. Actually, writing letter is a kind of our culture and it would better we don't throw it away. Lets write snail mail sometime to somebody. He/she will be very happy that you would never make her that much pleasant.
