[오만과 편견] The Science Of Sleep

'미셸 공드리' (난 가끔씩 공돌이라고 부른다.)의 정신세계는...

너무나도 나와 잘 맞는 것 같다. 그의 이야기는 자세히 보면

내 얘기 같고... 또 공돌이 자신의 이야기인 것 같기도하다.

어쩌면 조금은 황당무개하고 말도 안되는 것 같은 이야기만 하고

있는 듯 보이지만 사실 우리는 더 말도 안되고 황당무개한

세계 속에서 너무나도 버젓이 아무렇지도 않게 살고 있으면서

그것을 모른채 남을 비웃고 이상하다고 무시한다.

아마도 공돌이 아저씨도 나처럼 어려서부터 혼자서 잘 노는 그런

사람이었을 것이다. 분명하다. 같은 부류의 인간으로서 너무나

잘~ 안다. 아무튼 '이터널 선샤인'의 감수성 짙은 눈물냄새를

맡고 싶은 사람에게는 조금은 실망스러울지 모르겠지만...

한번쯤은 꿈과 현실을 혼동해본 이라면 누구나 공감하고 그러기에

더더욱 멋진 그런 영화가 아니었나싶다. 발칙하지만...

너무나 따뜻한 영화. 'The Science Of Sleep'이었다.

아! 그리고 영화 중간에 나온 'If you rescue me'... 너~무 좋다.

애인 생기면 불러줘야할 노래 후보에 바로 올렸다. 가사가 참 좋다.
