"아버지의 뜻이 하늘에서와 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다"라고 기도하지 말아라, 내 뜻대로 되기를 기도하면서 Never pray “Your will be done on earth”, when you wish your will, not his, be done.
"오늘 저희에게 일용할 양식을 주옵시고"하지 말아라, 가난한 이들을 본체 만체 하면서 Never pray “Give us this day our daily bread”, when you ignore a person in need.
"저희에게 잘못한 이를 저희가 용서하오니 저희 죄를 용서하시고" 하지 말아라, 누구엔가 아직도 앙심을 품고 있으면서 Never pray “Forgive us as we forgive those who trespasses against us”, when you are still grudging against someone.
"저희를 유혹에 빠지지 않게 하시고"하지 말아라, 죄 지을 기회를 찾아 다니면서 Never pray “Lead us not into temptations”, when you are conciously seeking one.
"악에서 구하소서"하지 말아라, 악을 보고도 아무런 양심의 소리를 듣지 않으면서 Never pray “Deliver us from evil one”, when your conscience remains silent at the scene of evil.
“아멘” 하지 말아라. 주님의 기도를 진정 나의 기도로 바치지 않으면서. Never pray "Amen", when you do not mean it.
