Thank you for blessing me with emphathy so strong

that my heart sinks whenever I see anyone in pain

고통에 처한 타인을 보고

내가슴이 아플수있게 축복해주심을 감사합니다

Thank you for blessing me

with so many enemies who do me wrong

that I have chances to forgive as you forgave

저에게 고통주는자들로 감싸시어

당신이 나를 용서한것같이

저도 용서할 기회주심을 감사합니다.

Thank you for answering my prayers

for peace, fortune, happiness, and love

with turmoil, misfortune, sorrow and loneliness

저의 평화, 행운, 행복, 사랑을 구하는기도에

고통과, 불운, 슬픔과 외로움으로 응답해주신것 감사합니다.

Because I now know

that to jump, I first need to crouch

도약하기위해서 움츠려야하는걸 알기에,

to find peace and truely have it

I first need to live in turmoil

평화는 찾고 진실로 소유하려면

먼저 고통을 느껴야하기에,

to grow a garden of fortune, I first need soil of misfortune

행운의 정원을 가꾸려면

불운의 땅을 경작해야하기에..

and happiness is found next to sorrow

행복은 항상 슬픔의 곁에 있고

and only complete when side by side with pain

행복은 고통옆에서야 완전해지고

and Love is that much more precious and lovely

after a season of loneliness.

사랑은 외로움의 계절이후에야

그만큼 더 갑지고 사랑스럽고

And today, above all, I thank you for teaching me Hope

오늘은 특히 소망을 가르쳐주심에 감사합니다

that all these unfortunate turns of my life

is a crouching to jump further

내 삶의 모든 불운들은

더 멀고 높게 오르기위한 움츠림임을

that you care enough for me to shape me

and endure watching me in pain

당신이 나를 소중히 여겨 나를 연단하시고

내고통을 참으심을

and I know how you feel my pain like your own, God

하나님이 내 고통을 당신의 고통처럼 느낌을 압니다.

and it hurts more to watch your loved ones in pain

than to be in pain yourself.

you've taught me that.

자신의 아픔보다 사랑하는자들의 아픔을

보는것이 더 아프다는것을
