2007년 8월20일 정식 발매예정인 장혜진 Power 앨범 ‘Tomboy’!
지난해 7집 ‘마주치지 말자’와 디지털 싱글 ‘불꽃’ 이후 약 1년 4개월여 만에 들고나온 이번 Power 앨범 ‘Tomboy’는 댄스장르를 총 망라한 곡들로, 원숙미 넘치는 장혜진 특유의 색깔에 힘있는 가창력이 더해져 시원하고 경쾌한 댄스 음악의 절정을 보여주고 있다.
1991년 ‘꿈속에선 언제나’로 데뷔해 그 동안 ‘키작은 하늘’, ‘내게로’, ‘1994년 어느 늦은 밤’, ‘완전한 사랑’, ‘꿈의 대화’, ‘못다한 사랑’, ‘아름다운 날들’, ‘마주치지 말자’, ‘불꽃’ 등 수많은 히트곡을 남겼던 장혜진은 정작 스스로가 목적하는 가수로서의 욕심 때문에 언제나 많은 아쉬움과 목마름을 호소하고 있다. 하지만 늘 준비되어 있고 새로운 장르에 도전하며 자신의 다양한 음악세계를 펼쳐 보이려는 장혜진의 아름다운 욕심과 무한도전은 앞으로도 계속될 것이며, 국내 많은 가수들에게 경종을 울릴 것이다.
