범인 조승희.
그는 재미교포 학생이였다.
한국과 미국의 충격은 물론이고, 세계를 떠들석하게 했던 사건.
우리나라 네티즌들의 반응은 미국보다 더 씨끌벅적했다.
다들, 나라망신이다, 미국한테 밉보이게 됐다 등등,
우리나라의 책임으로 몰아가는 이들이 많았다.
하지만.
조승희는 초등학교때 미국으로 이민가서,
사춘기와 사회성이 완성되어가는 과정을
