Heifetz in his prime, playing Saint-Saens' Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso. From the 1939 movie, "They Shall Have Music". Possibly the best bit of fiddle playing from him I have ever seen. The slow sections reflect his wondrous capability for expression. I know this has been uploaded, but this is of much better quality, and it's in English
생상스 : 서주와 론도 카프리치오소, Op.28 (Introduction and Rondo capriccioso, Op.28) 1870년에 작곡하였고, 1872년에 파블로 사라사테에게 헌정되어 사라사테의 독주로 초연되면서 유명해졌다. 원곡은 바이올린 독주에 2관 편성 오케스트라 반주로 되어 있지만, 피아노 독주로도 많이 연주되고 있다. 애수어린 느린 서주와 화려하고 발랄한 론도 카프리치오소로 구성되어 있다. 오늘날 바이올린의 명곡으로 많은 인기를 누리고 있다
