실제로 독일의 화학자 오토 로슬러 등은 "실험으로 생성된 미니 블랙홀이 지구를 삼켜 버릴 수도 있다"면서 빅뱅재현으로 인공블랙홀을 만드는 이번 실험에 우려를 표명하고 있다.
유럽인권재판소에 실험 중지 가처분 신청을 낸 바 있는 그는 언론과의 인터뷰에서 "내 계산대로라면 블랙홀이 살아남아 기하급수적으로 팽창해 지구를 삼켜버릴 가능성이 매우 크다"고 주장했다.
