If you can't be a pine on the top of the hill

언덕 위의 소나무가 될 수 없다면

Be a scrub in the valley --but be

골짜기의 관목이 되어라. 그러나

The best little scrub by the side of the rill;

시냇가의 제일좋은 관목이 되어라.

Be a bush if you can't be a tree.

나무가 될 수 없다면 덤불이 되어라. 

If you can't be a bit of the grass

덤불이 될 수 없다면 한 포기 풀이되어라.
