We recently read a few threads on Talk about Cyworld US shutting down. I wanted to take a moment to tell all of you this is not true. Cyworld US is not closing and the reason is because of you - our Community.
All of us at Cyworld have been amazed about the community you've created. The activity, dialogue, humor, and relationships drive us forward. So much so, that we are trying to focus our energy on building tools and features for Talk.
There are a few things that will change in coming weeks/months but these changes will not impact this service or website. The most notable change occuring is how we currently maintain and manage this service. We are planning on managing Cyworld US from our headquarters in Korea. By doing this, we'll be able to work with our colleagues more closely and hopefully add some content and features from our parent website.
If anyone has any questions about this thread or any additional concerns, please post them here or send us a private message. We'll try to respond to all of your concerns.
