Watched in IMAX and normal stadium seated theaterRemake of 1951 movie, I didn't watch the original movie but by reading a story line, I could tell it is RE-make and they just took the concept from the original.Overall, I liked it.By the grade, Overall I will give out - "C"Story was OK, visual graphics were GREAT and juicy for the eyes.The most I liked about the movie wasthe scene when Klaatu speaks with Chinese guy.There were some moments when the director or the writers wanted to speak out their thoughts to the audiences,and all of them were same way of how I thought of 'human-being'.Chinese guy speaks for the aliens and talk about 'human' in 3rd person view.He said "Human life is hard to live," but he will consider himself a LUCKY by living with human.He also said there is 'love' that he can't describe but tried to explain for many years.Yes, the way I see 'human' is also corrupted, and destructive. but i will say i am lucky by living as a human being too. On that how they talked about human were most i liked about this movie.(There were several, about 'changing', 'how human destroying the earth'.)The story was OK, because it is predictable,and Klaatu actually changes his mind and saves the world, not died like in original movie.I watched it in regular stadium seated theater and IMAX, but I think it's ok NOT to watch in IMAX.I watched it second time in IMAX, but it was only digital, nothing else.By the way,Will Smith's Son, Jaden Smith, his acting was ok, until the grave yard scene.He is good at crying- it was GOODKeanu Reeves reminded me the Matrix movie- kki think he likes 'godness' roll-If you haven't watch it yet,You should, just because it is a huge blockbuster hollywood movie with lots of graphics and it is good to watch for just entertainment.Enjoy watching it!!
