The Sony VGP-USP1, USB Speaker lets you enjoy audio playback as notebook speakers are barely audible generally. Nothing exceptional about the USB speaker, except that since it comes from the Sony stables, sound has to be decent.
The Sony VGP-USP1 does have a rather insipid design, however we will forgive Sony for it. It measures 270x120x30mm and weighs 520g. The USB Powered Speaker delivers an output of 2x2W and a range of 100Hz to 15kHz. No word on pricing or availability and check out Sony Japan for more info.
