I want to tell about important things that I think you have to know. It’s was Tuesday, 2th, October. I went Costco in Sangbong, Seoul. I was with my niece who is just 17 years old. About 7:10 pm, We finished shopping and we went to the parking area on the third floor. That time she was holding her wallet in her hands and she put down her wallet in the cart to move the things we bought from cart to my car’s trunk. We were going to our next destination. Suddenly my niece realized that she lost her wallet. We went back to Costco soon and we found the cart that we used, but we couldn’t find the cart at the place. That was 7:27pm. And we went to Information desk. We wanted to see CCTV in the parking area. But passed 20 minutes, they let us go to center control room barely. We explained the causes why we wanted to see the CCTV. We could see the video about 8pm. We were very upset with their impoliteness, we also felt they are too slow and not devoted. The time that we leave was 7:07pm, in the video nobody touched the cart that we put down to 7:17pm, then one worker(Mr. Ko) got the cart and push ahead and suddenly he stopped and bend down to get something, after then, he made actions that let us wonder and doubt. So we asked the person see the video again and again, then one worker abused, ”Shit.” And went out, the action let us very surprised. I wonder, ”Is this the service sprit of the Costco?”. That time 5~6 men include Managers (Mr.Lim, Mr.Ah and Mr.Lee) at the place didn’t help us, even they ignored us and threated us, that let me very surprise, upset and be puzzled, moreover I brought my niece who is youth yet, so I was very afraid of the situation. When we asked for watching the video again, they said to us that we have to call police. I think the CCTV is for the customer, but they let us call police, it’s so ridiculous. 10minutes later, two policemen came, and we could watched the video again. And the police also thought it’s very doubtful, but we couldn’t see what he picked up when he bended down. Because the system was very old and we couldn’t see it very clearly. We wanted to see more clearly, we asked for helping but they was refused very impolitely and let us do it ourselves if we want. We wanted the file of video, police let them give us the video. But it was impossible, too, in the situation they made so many actions let me felt strange, like change their say. At last they said if we came next time they would render for watching the video or copying the video if we have some system to do it. (in front of the police). I was very angry, because I engage in fashion business, it’s making the clothes and importing them to foreign countries. And on every Tuesday 9pm, Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan’s buyers come to my shop to they order my clothes, moreover now those countries are fall that is good season to sell jeans, so it is the most impossible incomes to me. But cause of this situation that their tackle I couldn’t meet my customers, and it brought about a lot of loss in the money, the most important thing is my customers won’t trust me anymore, I know there will be a lot of problem in my business. The next day(Wednesday, 3th, October, Korean National Day), I believed their promise, I visited the Costco(Sangbong) again. Before I went there, I have made many phone calls to the other Costco malls, I asked why your mall can’t let customers watch CCTV, all of them answered, “ It’s ridiculous, if customer want to watch it, there’s responsibility that we show the video to the customer.” But they didn’t keep the promise, even didn’t let me go into the mall and said, ” You can’t watch the video, if you want to see it, bring the search warrant.” Mr. Lim threated me that if Mr. KO didn’t steal the wallet, the Costco will accuse as a false accusation. After then the three managers laughed at me. I felt very ignoble at the Costco gate. (there was so many people because it was holiday). It’s terrible, and unbelievable the Costco workers’ actions. As their requirement the police came and took Mr. Ko and me to go to police box to write statement. After read the statement, the police said it’s special theft, so we have to go to police station. During Mr. Ko went to Costco with a policeman to check the video, I wrote statement again, and there was the question that asked me what was in the wallet. I answered there’re some Chinese currency, US dollars and a sheet of Korean check. Police asked me, “Do you know the number on the check?”. Everybody knows that nobody memorize the number of check(money), but fortunately my niece remembered the president of the bank’s name in Chinese character (my niece studies in China). I remembered that she has read the name in Chinese. Then I wrote the name(李Lee杰Gul洛Rak) on the statement, after a hour the policeman and Mr. Ko came back to the police station. Now I think it’s waste money, I also regret about it, Costco says “Best service”, but it’s just lie. I can’t forget it that tears in my niece’s eyes and the time they laughed at me. I’m angry at they are very unabashed. I wish there are no more customer get damaged like me. Costco is telling lies. Where is the “best service”? Is it the “best service” that you said? I am going to tell about your duplicity to the world. If you recognize your company’s fault, maybe you have to solve this problem quickly.
