Bat Head Soup : A Tribute to Ozzy 앨범에 수록된,

Lisa Loeb의 리메이크 곡.

과거 소울메이트라는 드라마의 OST에도 사용되면서 많은 이들의 심금을 울렸던.. 곡이다.

원곡은 Black Sabbath를 탈퇴한 Ozzy가 자신의 이름을 따서 결성한 Ozzy Osbourne Band의,

그리고.. 지금은 이 세상에 없는, Randy Rhoads와 함께 했던, 

Blizzard Of Ozz의 3번 트랙, Goodbye To Romance.  

Black Sabbath의 이름과 그들의 음악이 Heavy ME-TA httpl 씬에 끼친 영향 등을 생각해 본다면, 

이러한 발라드 곡은 약간 뜬금 없이 느껴지기도 하지만.. 역시나 그들의 명곡 중 하나.

소아마비를 앓고 있었던, 기타의 천사라고 불리웠던 Randy Rhoads..

1982년 3월 19일 불의의 비행기 사고로 사망..

Ozzy를 떠올린다면, 자연스레 떠오를 그 이름.

아무튼..

굳이 Ozzy Osbourne의 원곡이 아닌 Lisa Loeb의 곡을 소개하는 이유는..

원곡과는 약간 다른, 푸르스름한 이 저녁에 어울릴 법한 몽환적인 분위기가 좋아서.
