[T] Prologue: I am not a BEAST fan, I have my own favorite group to support, but I listened to BEAST’s songs, so I really like them. And also, I’ve seen them on variety, so I have a little knowledge about them. It’s an coincident that I’ve become part of the filming crew. Anything related to MV such as concepts, hair styles or songs, will not be mentioned here, I will just touch on those little behind the scenes. Please credit as necessary.
시작하기전에: 저는 비스트의 팬이 아니라는걸 밝혀두고 싶어요. 좋아하는 그룹이 따로 있지만 비스트 노래도 듣고 그래서 그들을 많이 좋아해요. 또 예능에 나온 모습도 봐서 조금이나마나 비스트에 대해 조금은 알아요. 제가 촬영 스탭이 된 건 우연히 이루어졌어요. 뮤비에 관한 컨셉이나 헤어스타일이나 노래 언급은 안하고 그냥 촬영 뒷 이야기에 대해서만 이야기할게요. 출처는 밝혀주세요~
1. Son Dongwoon was really friendly, although his English wasn’t really good, he definitely dare to talk in English.
1. 동운군은 진짜 친근했어요. 영어를 잘하지는 않았지만 영어로 하려고 열심히 노력하는게 보였어요.
2. During break time, Dongwoon asked a few American ladies their age, they said 16 or 19. Americans look like 20 or 30s even though they’re at their teens, so Dongwoon was a little shocked. He later admitted that he’s 22 years old! And asks everyone to call him Oppa~
2. 쉬는시간에 동운군이 몇몇 미국여자들한테 나이를 물어봤고 16살 혹은 19살이라고 대답했는데 보통 미국 10대 소녀들도 20대나 30대로 보이는 경향이 있어서 동운군이 적지않은 충격을 받은듯 했어요. 그러다 나중에 동운군이 22살이라고 얘기하면서 사람들한테 오빠라고 부르라고 했어요.
3. Doojoon looks as if he asked people around him, how old was Yoseob. There’s some of them guessed 16.
3. 두준군은 주위사람들한테 요섭군 나이를 물어봤는데 몇몇 사람들이 16살인줄 알았대요.(ㅋㅋ)
4. Yoseob seems to be very tired, his eyes was a little red, because we were shooting under the hot weather for the whole day, the night scene even contains more tiring contents. I felt as if he was about to cry (Probably I was too sad for him, and he looks cute), but the moment he started filming, he gave in his 100%!~
4. 요섭군은 눈이 빨개질정도로 피곤해보였어요. 쨍쨍한 날씨에 하루종일 촬영하고 밤에 찍을때에 더 피곤한 촬영이 이루어져서 그런것같아요. 요섭군이 귀엽고 한편으로는 안타까워서 제 눈엔 요섭군이 곧 울것처럼 보였는데 촬영 시작하자마자 다시 생기발랄하게 열심히 100%를 발휘해서 임했어요.
5. There’s once when Kikwang danced too high, and almost fell off from the small stage, those surrounding the stage held on to him, then only he was able to find his balance.
5. 한번은 기광군이 높은 곳에서 춤추다가 작은 스테이지에서 거의 떨어질 뻔 했어요. 다행히 [(1)스테이지 주변의 사람들이 있어서 버팀 or (2)주변에 무대가 있어서 버팀] 겨우 균형을 유지할 수 있었어요. - (1)이 맞는지 (2)가 맞는지는 확실하게 모르겠어요....뭘 봤어야 알지 <<;;;; 결론은 안 다쳐서 다행이라구요 T_T
6. Son Dongwoon used English to converse with others. While I used my half-past-six Korean to talk with him. He was so surprised and asked if I was a Korean. I told him that I’m a Chinese, and he said that I’m good in Korean~
6. 동운군은 영어로 계속 다른사람들이랑 대화를 하려고 했는데 제가 한국어로 조금 대화 시도하려니까 놀라면서 한국인이냐고 물었어요. 저는 중국인이라고 하니까 한국어 잘한다고 해줬어요~
7. After filming, and we’re back to the waiting room, Half of it, is for their use, and the other half, is for our use. Inside there, there were 2 toilets. (During this filming, 90% of the crew were westerners, since the production team don’t really focus on Asia faces. Only 5 of them really like them, so Beast’s whatsoever actions will not be taken note of) Dongwoon went to one side of the toilet, there was someone in there, so he waited outside. I saw that no one was using the other toilet, so I went there to asked him to go there. He directly used Korean to ask me if there’s a toilet there, and I said yes. After he knew that I knew Korean, every time, he would converse with me in Korean straight, and he looked happy about it~
7. 촬영끝나고 대기실로 돌아왔는데요 대기실의 반은 비스트가 쓰고 나머지 반은 저희가 써요. 화장실은 두군데가 있는데 동운군이 화장실을 그 중 한군데를 골라갔는데 안에 누가 있어서 밖에서 기다려야했어요. 제가 다른화장실은 아무도 안쓰고 있다고가서 알려주니까 한국어로 화장실이 다른데에도 있냐고 물었고 제가 그렇다고 대답했어요. 제가 한국말을 안다는걸 동운군이 알게되자 항상 저랑 한국어로 대화하려고했고 그거에 대해 기뻐했어요~ (촬영스탭중 90%가 서양인인데 비스트를 좋아하는 5명빼고는 다 비스트에 대해 잘 몰라서 비스트의 행동 하나하나 사사건건 말하지 않는걸로 할게요)
8. Towards the final shoot, everyone was exhausted to the max, Finally it was done, and everyone was happy. While we were celebrating, the members came and high-5 with us. Yoseob was no where to be found, so they shouted their name. He heard it, saw it, therefore he came and high-5 my hand, the best moment of the night~
8. 촬영이 다 끝나갈때즈음에 사람들이 극도로 지쳤다가 촬영이 끝나자 모든 사람들이 기뻐했어요. 촬영 마친걸 축하하고 있을때 비스트가 오더니 저희랑 하이파이브를 했어요. 요섭군의 모습이 보이지않자 요섭군의 이름을 외쳤고 요섭군은 그걸 듣고 와서 저랑 하이파이브를 했는데 그 날 밤의 최고의 순간이였어요~
9. I asked Dongwoon when will he go back to Korea, he said he doesn’t know. (I said this in Korean very badly, but surprisingly, he understood after one sentence, amazing~)
9. 동운군한테 언제 한국으로 돌아가냐고 물었는데 잘 모른다고 대답했어요. (이걸 한국어로 물어봤는데 정말 못했거든요. 근데 놀랍게도 동운군이 한문장 끝나고 알아들었어요~)
10. When I asked Junhyung if there’s any concerts in America, (I said this very accurately, but he couldn’t even understand after I repeated it for 3 times…) But in the end, he said it's not confirmed yet~
10. 준형군한테 미국에서 콘서트를 할 계획이 있냐고 물었더니 (이걸 정확히 물어봤는데도 3번 번복할동안에도 못알아들었네요...) 결국은 아직 확인된 게 없다고 말했어요~
11. Dongwoon was playing games around with the ladies, asking them to guess what does it mean in Korean~
11. 동운군이 주위 여성들한테 한국어로 이게 무얼 뜻하는지 묻는 게임을 하면서 놀았어요
12. Because Dongwoon was really friendly, and his looks was quite international, ladies on the spot love him the most, and everyone wanted to take a picture with him. They even said that, if Beast wanted to have a tour around, they will bring them around to play. Our maknae-ah, you’re too popular already~
12. 동운군이 친근하고 이국적으로 생긴탓에 그 자리에 있던 여성들한테 제일 인기가 많고 사진도 많이 찍어달라는 부탁을 받았어요. 심지어 그들은 비스트가 주변관광하길 원한다면 가이드도 해 주겠다고 했어요. 우리 막내 벌써 인기가 많네요~
13. Kikwang and Hyunseung were very quiet throughout, but during the shoot, they immediately become very committed~ After the shoot, when we took pictures, however, Hyunseung actually did a mehrong (showing tongue and pulling a childish face), totally cute~
13. 기광군과 현승군이 가장 조용했는데 촬영 들어가면 열심히 임하더라구요~ 촬영 끝나고 사진 찍을때 현승군이 메롱했는데 너무 귀여웠어요~
14. Usually when I see them on TV, they don’t look thin. But when meeting them in person, they looked really thin, even thinner than expected~
14. 티비로 볼땐 비스트가 다 마른걸 못느꼈는데 직접 보니까 생각했던것보다 더 말랐어요~
15. While in the waiting room filled with people, Kikwang walked around half naked……………..~
15. 사람 꽉찬 대기실에서 기광군이 윗통 벗은채로 돌아다녔어요...~
16. Last of all, we’re about to leave. but they still have to continue filming. It’s already 1am midnight. Before we left, Dongwoon friendly said goodbye to us. Yoseob who’s at the side, although he was tired, he became bright and bid us goodbye, all are good kids-ah~~
16. 아직 비스트는 촬영이 더 남았지만 이미 새벽 1시가 다 돼서 저희는 먼저 일어났어야했어요. 떠나기전에 동운군이 친근하게 다가와서 굿바이라고 인사해줬어요. 옆에 있던 요섭군도 피곤해 보였지만 밝게 다가와서 인사 해줬는데 다 너무 착한 멤버들이네요- 아~~~
17. After the shoot, everyone took pictures. It was clearly forbidden from taking pictures, but I couldn’t imagine that I still can get this benefit at the end. Dongwoon, Hyunseung, Doojoon and Junhyung was really nice and took pictures with everyone. At first, I was actually afraid of Junhyung, I felt as if he’s a person not easy to talk to, but he’s really nice, I really wanted to use “gentle” this word, to describe him~~
17. 촬영이 끝나고 모두가 사진을 찍었어요. 분명 사진을 찍는건 금지였지만 이렇게까지 촬영할수있는 혜택을 누릴수있다는걸 상상할수없었어요. 동운군, 현승군, 두준군, 그리고 준형군이 친절하게 모든 사람들과 사진을 찍어줬어요. 처음에 준형군이 대화를 걸기엔 쉽지 않은 사람이라고 생각했는데 실제로는 착했고 정말 "젠틀"하다고 설명해주고싶어요~~
18. Too bad, while taking pictures, we couldn’t find Yoseob. Asked Hyunseung his whereabouts, Hyunseung looked around and cutely said, “I don’t know-eh”. Probably he wasn’t feeling well, so he went home early. But actually at the end, I had the chance to take a picture with him, he definitely wouldn’t say no, but looking at him.. I just couldn’t…..~~ So far, I can only think of this much.. I will add on if I remembered anything.. On the whole, their American trip was really tiring, coming to New York with their hot weather, filmed for 10+ hours a day, actors may take their break, but who’s there to replace them~~? We took for 4 hours, but they had to continue their shoot even after us leaving. That moment, I felt that celebrities are not easy to be.This Comeback, everyone please give in your support!
18. 사진을 찍고 있을동안 요섭군이 안보여서 안타까웠어요. 현승군한테 물어봤더니 주위를 둘러보더니 귀엽게"잘 모르겠어요-에"라고 대답했어요. 몸상태가 좋질 않았는지 요섭군은 일찍 돌아갔어요. 근데 마지막에 요섭군과 사진 찍을 기회가 있었고 요섭군이 거절 안할거라는걸 알고 있었지만 요섭군을 보니 차마 찍지 못하겠더라구요. 이게 여태 기억나는 것들이였고 더 생각나면 추가할게요~ 총체적으로 이번 비스트의미국 촬영 일정은 정말 빠듯하고 피곤했어요. 더운 이 날씨에 미국에서 하루에 10시간도 더한 촬영을 하면서 연기자들은 쉴수도 있었지만 비스트는 그러지도 못했어 요. 저흰 4시간정도 밖에 촬영을 안했는데 비스트는 저희가 떠나고서도 계속 찍어야 했어요. 그때 연예인은 정말 되기가 쉽지 않다는걸 깨달았어요.이번에 컴백하면 많이 응원해주세요!

요섭군을 보니 차마 찍지 못하겠더라구요. 이게 여태 기억나는 것들이였고 더 생각나면 추가할게요~ 총체적으로 이번 비스트의미국 촬영 일정은
정말 빠듯하고 피곤했어요. 더운 이 날씨에 미국에서 하루에 10시간도 더한 촬영을 하면서 연기자들은 쉴수도 있었지만 비스트는 그러지도 못했어
요. 저흰 4시간정도 밖에 촬영을 안했는데 비스트는 저희가 떠나고서도 계속 찍어야 했어요.
