September, 2017, there will be 'Hanseong
Baekje Cultural Festival' in Songpa.
Started from 1994, the 17th 'Hanseong
Baekje Cultural Festival' will be held on September 21st to 24th around Olympic
park in Songpa, Seoul. The festival hosted by Songpa-gu and supervised by Hanseong
Baekje Cultural Festival promotion committee, is a participatory history
cultural festival that you can feel early Baekje's history and culture.
Especially this time, you can meet kings who live in the flow of history such
as King Onjo, founder of Baekje, King Goi, who established the foundation of
nation, King Geunchogo who achieved
golden age.
There are not only original programs such
as the honbul lighting ceremony, Dongmyungje, historical culture street
procession but also new programs as King Geunchogo royal carriage procession,
making seven-branched sword, drawing well, and so on, so please come and enjoy
the festival.
