Korean female idols are suffering from dreadful sexual crimes. Recently, a female idol was photographed illegally while she was changing and getting ready for the next stage. Moreover, using developed technology such as “Deepfake”, most of the female idols were manipulated into pornography. These videos and pictures were posted on social media (ex. Twitter) and have been spreading widely. Due to these horrific crimes, many female idols are suffering from emotional distress. Currently, Korean k-pop fans are trying their best to spread the news to punish people who were posting these kinds of sexual assaults. However, they have difficulties in eradicating these videos since many people disregards them. These awful crimes have been showing up since years ago and nothing has changed. It is an incident in which Korean men secretly filmed rape or illegal sexual violence videos targeting women, and then sold videos obtained by blackmailing them and made profits.
Some of the victims suffered mental damage, some women made extreme choices, and the victims are still coming out.
Under these circumstances, the perpetrator refuses to admit his wrongdoing and continues to commit sex crimes in another way.
One of the methods is community sites that men use. They created hidden bulletin boards that needed to be logged in or certified to enter, taking pictures of ordinary people as they wanted, and sexually harassed them. The signs were revealed a few days ago. A few days later, however, no solution or response has been made by the Korean government. Victims will continue to rise and women no longer have human rights in Korea.
We must punish these disgusting criminals and need the attention of people around the world.
