뉴스를 잘 보지 않던 내가 집중하기 시작했다.
2022년 지구촌 행사인 올림픽이 끝나고 러시아는 우크라이나를 공격했다.
휴전국인 대한민국에 살면서 전쟁에 대한 이야기를 많이 들었던 나도
상상해보지 못한 실제 상황이었다.
러시아가 우크라이나를 공격할 수도 있다는 뉴스들을 봤을땐 설마 이 시대에 전쟁이 일어날까,
2차대전 이후 평화를 위해 많은 나라들이 뜻을 합쳤고, 그저 경고이지 않을까 생각했다.
하지만 우크라이나는 공격을 받았고 사실상 어떤 나라에게도 도움을 받지 못하고 있다. 왜 평화를 외치던 강대국들은 나서지 않는것인지 모르겠어서 찾아보았다. 이렇게 한 나라가 공격을 받고,가족들이 흩어지고, 사람들이 공포에 질려있는 상황에도 각 나라들은 자신의 이익을 위한 생각들을 하고 있고, 그렇기 때문에 쉽게 나서지 않는다는 것이다.
물론 국가의 관점으로 본다면 이익을 생각하지 않을 수 없다.
하지만 난 전쟁에 대한 교육을 받은 한 사람으로써 이해할 수 없었다. 전쟁은 어떤 이유를 막론하고 일어나서는 안되는 일이다. 그리고 전쟁을 시작한 나라는 어떤 이유든지 지탄 받아야 마땅하다. 모두가 분명 평화를 외쳐왔다고 생각한다. 그렇다면 모든 국가들은 각국의 이익을 생각하는게 맞더라도 전쟁이라는 일에서는 어떤 이유를 막론하고 강하게 나서야 한다고 생각한다.
지구전체가 바이러스와의 긴 전쟁에서 싸워왔다.
하지만 이 전쟁이 끝나기도 전에 러시아의 우크라이나 공격으로 우리는 그동안 지켜왔던 평화에 대한 큰 이념을 잃고있다. 전쟁의 끝은 고통 뿐이다. 우크라이나 사람들은 이 전쟁이 끝나더라도 큰 고통을 앉고 살아가야 한다.
시대는 달라졌고, 우리는 전쟁에 대해 외칠 수 있다. 우리는 강해졌고, 전쟁은 일어나서는 안된다.
우리는 지구라는 한 행성에 같이 살아가고 있다는 것을 잊지 말아야 한다. 싸워야 하는 것은
지금 우리에게 닥친 바이러스였고, 다가올 미래에 지구의 일들이다. 지구는 병들어 가고 있고, 우리는 큰 자연적인 재해에 쉽게 사라질 사람들이다. 이익을 위한 전쟁과 눈치싸움이 아닌 같이 살아갈 미래에 대한 생각을 나누고 힘을 합치고 방해하는 사람들과 맞서 싸워야 한다.

우리는 러시아로부터 지구를 지켜야 하며, 무고한 사람들을 지키기 위해 맞서 싸워야 한다.
내가 살고 있는 나라가 아니라고 그저 바라보고 있는 것은 아니라고 생각했다.
각 나라들이 자신들의 이익을 위한 생각들을 멈추지 않고, 러시아의 행동을 막지 않는다면
우크라이나의 상황이 내 나라의 상황이 될 것 이라고 생각한다. 난 그저 지구 속 아주 작은 한 사람일 뿐이다. 그동안 나 하나가 바꿀 수 있는게 있을까, 막을 수 있을까 하며 항상 뒤에서 지켜보기만했다. 하지만 너무 답답한 마음에 글을 썼다. 나 하나 러시아의 행동을 막을 수 없다.
하지만 이런 생각들이 모여 큰 힘을 이룰수 있다고 생각한다.
전쟁에 대한 교육을 받고, 우크라이나 사람들의 모습에 가슴아파한다면 그저 지켜보는 것보다는
한마디라도 외쳐주길 바란다. 이익을 위한 무고한 희생은 존재해서는 안된다. 러시아를 모두가 지켜보고 있고, 러시아의 행동은 잘못되었다고 모두가 말하고 있다고 외쳐주길 바란다.

I heard a lot about the war while living in Korea, a truce country.
It was a real situation that I had never imagined.
Given the news that Russia could attack Ukraine, would there be a war in this era?
After World War II, many countries joined forces for peace, and I thought it would be just a warning.
However, Ukraine has been attacked and is virtually unaided by any country. I looked for it because I didn't know why the powers countries that shouted peace didn't come forward. In this way, even when a country is attacked, families are scattered, and people are terrified, each country is thinking about its own interests, and that's why it doesn't come forward easily.
Of course, from the perspective of the state, we cannot help but think of benefits.
But I couldn't understand as a person who was educated about war. War should not happen for any reason. And the country that started the war deserves to be blamed for any reason. I think everyone has definitely called for peace. If so, I think that even if it is right for all countries to think about the interests of each country, they should be strong take action regardless as to the reason for the war.
The entire planet has been fighting a long war against the virus.
However, even before the end of virus war, Russia's attack on Ukraine is losing our great ideology of peace that we have been protecting. The only end of the war is pain. Ukrainian people have to live in great pain even after this war.
Times have changed, and we can shout about war. We have become strong, and war must not break out.
We should not forget that we live together on a planet called Earth. What we need to fight about is...It has been a virus that is facing us now, and it is the work of the Earth in the coming future. The Earth is getting sick, and we are people who will easily disappear from major natural disasters. Instead of war and war of wits for profit, we have to share our thoughts about the future you will live with, join forces, and fight against those who interfere.

However, I think these thoughts can gather and achieve great strength.

I hope you can shout out even a word. Innocent sacrifices for profit should not exist. I want you to shout that everyone is watching Russia and that everyone is saying that Russia's actions are wrong.
