그 그룹의 보컬인 Naill Quinn 가 그룹을 떠나겠다고 결심하자,
나머지 멤버들은 새로운 보컬을 물색중이였다. 그 결과는
Dolores 만나는 것이었고, 바로 영입하게 된다.
또한 새로운 그룹 이름을 The Cranberries라 명명하게 된다.
