얘기하지만, 이 곡의 가수 '산타나(Santana)'는 1966년에

샌프란시스코에서 결성된 6인조 밴드 이름으로

리더의 이름을 밴드의 이름으로 정한 경우이다.

'Open Arms'로 유명한 그룹 '저니(Journey)'의 '닐 숀(Neal Schon)과

'그렉 롤리(Gregg Rolie)'도 이 밴드의 멤버였으며 1976년 발표된

두번째 앨범 'Abraxas'에 수록된 곡으로, 'Europa'와 함께

우리에게 많은 사랑을 받고 있는 산타나의 기타연주곡이다.

'Abraxas(아브락사스)'는 헤르만 헤세의 소설 '데미안'에 나오는

선과 악의 신의 이름이기도 하며,

닭의 머리에 뱀의 꼬리를 하고 있다고 한다.
