Dear Sabine letter A Canadian guy wants to send a letter to every single Belgian woman with the name Sabine. Marc Lachance is now searching for the woman that he met on holiday in Cuba. The Canadian, a building contractor from Quebec, is madly in love with the woman, but hasn't got her address. The two met on the bus to Havana, while Lachance was holidaying in Cuba last November.
The two spent the day together, but never exchanged addresses and never met again.
They did have their photo taken and this has now been published in the daily De Morgen.
Afterwards the Canadian regretted not daring to ask for Sabine's phone number or address.
Back in Canada he realised the Belgian may be the woman of his dreams and he wanted to try and contact her.
Lachance had little to go on. All he knew was that Sabine was Belgian spoke French and was on holiday with a friend called Klara.
Is Sabine on the phone? Madly in love the Canadian used the internet to look up the addresses of all 3,700 Sabines in the Belgian telephone directory
He has now sent a letter to every single one living in Brussels. The other letters should be in the post soon.
Lachance told the daily De Morgen that it was an expensive enterprise, but well worth it, if it helps to track down his holiday Sabine.
Many Sabines have already replied by email, but so far all have had to disappoint the Quebecois.
Hopefully, the Canadian's lost love is in the phone book.

그녀와 너무 연락을 하고 싶었던 라샹스는 벨기에 전화번호부에 있는 사비네라는 이름을 가진 여성들에게 무려 3700통의 편지를 보내게 된것 이다..
이것이 벨기에서 화제가 되었고, 라디오에서 이 사연을 들은 진짜 사비네가 라샹스에게 먼저 연락을 했다.
