My tea's gone cold

차는 싸늘하게 식어버리고 

왜 침대에서 일어날 수 없는지 모르겠어요. 

창문을 흐리게 하는 아침 비 때문에

아무 것도 보이지 않아요. 

볼 수 있다고 하더라도 모두 뿌옇겠지요. 

하지만 벽에 걸린 당신의 사진이 주는 느낌은

별로 나쁘진 않네요. 

나쁘진 않아요.

어젯밤에 술을 너무 많이 마셨고 돈도 내야 했죠 

지금 머리가 너무 아파요. 

버스마저 놓치고 오늘은 마치 지옥같을 거에요. 

직장에 또 다시 늦었네요. 

일찍 갔다고 하더라도 사람들은 모두

제가 하루종일 있지 않을거라 생각할거에요. 

그 때 당신이 전화를 해주고 기분이 나쁘진 않네요. 

나쁘진 않아요.

** 제 삶에 있어 가장 행복한 날들을 준 것에 대해

당신께 감사드리고 싶어요. 

그저 당신과 함께 있는 것만으로

일생의 가장 기쁜 날들을 맞이한답니다.

문을 열고 마침내 집으로 돌아왔어요. 

머리부터 발끝까지 욕조에 담그고 

당신은 제게 수건을 건네주네요. 

보이는 건 당신뿐이에요. 

집이 지금 당장 무너진다고 하더라도 

눈치조차 채질 못할 거에요. 

당신이 제 곁에 있기 때문이죠.
