Lucy ?
한가지 설 - Lucy는 실존 인물이다.
존 레논의 아들인 줄리앙이 유치원에서 자기반 친구인 루씨를 그려서 집에 돌아와서 존 레논한테 그림을 보여주면서 "Lucy in the sky with diamonds"라구 자랑을 했었다고 하네요.그리고 그 말이 어떤 영감이 되서리 그 노래가 만들어졌다고 하네요.
그리고 시간이 지난후 존레논이 루씨를 보구 ”Hello, Lucy in the sky with diamonds” 라구 인사했다구 전해지고요
그리고 최근에 하늘나라로 갔다네요
다른 설은 마약에 관한 내용이라는데 무비를 보시면 상당히 몽환적이죠 지금에 보면 동화적이라는 것이 더 맞을지 몰라도
그리고 지구에서 50광년 떨어진 센타우루스자리에 있는 지름 1,500㎞의 백색왜성을 Lucy라고 명명했죠
별 전체가 다이아몬드와 같은 탄소 결정체로 이루어져 있어, 일명 다이아몬드별로 불리는데 바로 이노래에서 따왔다고 하네요
그래서 첫번째 설과 별의 명명을 보면 루시는 결국 하늘로 다이몬드를 가지고 가서 별이 되었네요
