One day, a red train that makes trips on railroads high up in the mountains and a yellow fish that has lived all its life deep
inside a lake meet - and fall in love.
어느날, 기차길을 따라서 산을 올라가는 빨간기차와 일생을 깊은 호수속에서 산 노란물고기가 만났고.....그리고 사랑에 빠졌어죠
The differences in size, color, shape and living environment all become powerless in the face of love.
크기도 다르고 색깔도 다르고 형태도다르고 또 사는 환경이
달랐지만 그 모든것은 사랑앞에서 무력해졌죠
The train comes off the track and the fish leaves the lake
to be with each other.
둘은 같이있고 싶어서 기차는 선로를 벗어났고 물고기는
호수을 떠났죠
Like other lovers, the train and the fish drink juice together, sit on the steps and talk for hours, watch a movie, play on the swings and plan out their dreams while looking up at the stars
at night.
다른 사랑하는 사람과 같이 기차와 물고기는 같이 주스도 마시고 계단에 앉아서 이야기도하고 영화도보고 밤하늘에 별을보는동안
그네를 타면서 그들의 꿈을 계획었죠
But slowly, the two lovers begin to realize the difficulty of
keeping their love going.
하지만 천천히... 그 둘은 그들의 사랑이 지속하기
힘든다는걸 알게되죠
Spending too much time out of the water, the fish begins to feel pain in its small body.
물에 나온지 시간이 많이 흘러 물고기는 자신의 작은몸이
고통스럽기 시작했어요.
Feeling sorry and sad for the fish, the train volunteers to live in
the lake.
물고기에게 미안하고 슬픈마음을 느낀 기차는 호수에
살기를 자처하죠.
But soon, the train realizes that his body is rusting and blames
the fish for the green marks on his body.
하지만 곧 기차는 실삼했어요 그의 몸이 녹이 쓸었고 물고그는
그의 몸에난 이끼를 보고 비웃었죠.
"It`s all the selfish fish`s fault," he thinks.
'이 모든것은 이기적은 물고기의 잘못이야' 기차는 그렇게 생각했죠
After a huge fight, the two come to a conclusion that they are
too different to keep their love going.
그후에 한번에 큰 싸움이 있었어요 그 둘은 그들이 너무
다르기에 더이상 사랑을 지속할수없었고 그들의 사랑은 끝이 났죠.
Calling each other selfish and thoughtless, the two break up.
그들은 서로 이기적이고 사려심이 깊지않았기에 둘이
해어진거라 말했어요.
Leaving one wheel behind, the train leaves the lake and
returns to the mountains.
떠나면서 바퀴하나를 남긴체,그 기차는 강을 떠나
산으로 돌아갔어요.
Feeling disappointed and betrayed, the fish never leaves
the lake again.
실망감과 배신감을 느낀 그 물고기는 다시는 강을 떠나지 않았어요.
Time passes, but the fish waits for the train to come back,
holding onto the wheel he left.
시간이 흘렸지만 물고기는 그가 남긴 아님 바퀴를 붙들고
기차가 돌아오기를 기다렸죠.
The train prays for the fish to turn up.
기차도 물고기가 돌아오기를 기도했어요.
With lust, the fish becomes attached to the wheel and the train becomes a little less speedy.
갈망하던 물고기는 바퀴에 애착을 가졌고 기차는 느리게 다녔어요
Then one day, they meet again.
그러던 어느날, 그들은 다시 만나게되요.
Talking until sunset, the two realize how they can never be truly happy without each other.
일몰때까지 이야기를 하면서 둘은 그들이 서로가 없이
진실로 행복할수 없다는것을 깨달았었어요
“너와 함께라면 어디서든지 살 수 있어.”
"아니...."
“너와 함께여야 어디서라도 살 수 있겠어.”
