사람들은 하나님이 없는 영원한 생명을 생각하는데 익숙합니다
그러나 성경에 의하면 영원한 생명은 매우 관계적입니다
영원한 생명을 창조주 하나님과 그 사랑하는 아들을 아는 것입니다
People are accustomed to thinking of eternal life without God.
But according to the Bible, eternal life is very relational.
Eternal life is knowing the Creator and His beloved Son.
요한복음 3장에서 예수님은 이스라엘에서 구약성경을 가르치던 스승인 니고데모를 야단치십니다

3: 10 "어떻게 당신은 이스라엘의 스승이면서 이것들을 모를수가 있습니까?...
14 사람의 아들(인자-구원자)이 모세가 사막에서 구리뱀을 장대에 달았듯이 들려져야만(십자가에 못박혀 죽어야만)합니다
15 그러면 그를 믿는 모든 사람들이 영원한 생명을 가지게 될 것입니다
16 하나님께서 이 세상의 사람들을 자기 외아들을 주실만큼이나 사랑하십니다
그 아들을 신뢰하는 누구든지 영원히 죽지 않고 살리기 위해서죠
17 하나님께서 그 아들을 세상에 보내신 목적은 세상 사람들을 정죄하기 위해서가 아니라 영원히 살리기 위해서입니다
18 누구든지 하나님의 아들을 믿으면 정죄당하지 않을 겁니다
19 반대로 누구든지 그 아들을 신뢰하지 않으면 하나님의 하나뿐인 아들을 믿지 않았다는 이유로 이미 정죄당한 것입니다
In John 3, Jesus scolds Nicodemus. (please, look at the gospel of John chapter 3)
10 Jesus replied: How can you be a teacher of Israel and not know these things? ...
14 And the Son of Man must be lifted up, just as that metal snake was lifted up by Moses in the desert.
15 Then everyone who has faith in the Son of Man will have eternal life.
16 God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die.
17 God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them!
18 No one who has faith in God's Son will be condemned.
But everyone who doesn't have faith in him has already been condemned for not having faith in God's only Son.
아무도 당신이 얼마나 슬픈지 행복한지 정말로 알 수 없습니다
웃음 뒤에 슬픔이 숨어있을 때도 행복이 결국 슬픔으로 마무리 될 때도 있지요
당신은 스스로 맞는 길에 서있다고 생각할지라도 결국 잘못된 길일 수도 있습니다
세상은 니고데모에게 존경과 부와 힘을 주었습니다 보기에 아무것도 부족하지 않았지요
그러나 그 자신은 뭔가가 부족하다고 인정해야만 했습니다
No one else can really know how sad or happy you are.
Sorrow may hide behind laughter, and happiness may end in sorrow.
You may think you are on the right path and still end up wrong.
The world gave Nicodemus respect, wealth, and power. Seemingly, nothing is lacking.
But he himself had to admit that something was missing.
시편 94편 11절에 보면
창조주께서 인간의 생각들을 아십니다 그것들이 얼마나 허무한지를 아십니다
하나님께서 우리의 계획들이 사실상 얼마나 쓸데없는지를 아십니다
그분께서 우리의 어리석음과 얄팍함을 알고 계십니다
Psalm 94:11 says "The LORD knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile.
The LORD knows how useless our plans really are. God knows our stupidity, sees our shallowness."
니고데모는 구약성경을 알고 가르쳐야 할 사람이었습니다
그러나 실상은 구약성경의 기초들조차 모르고 있었습니다
구약은 메시야를 통한 영원한 생명을 우리에게 가르칩니다
구약은 우리에게 그 메시야가 우리를 용서하고 참되고 영원한 생명을 주기 위해
고생을 해야만하고 죽음을 당해야만 한다고 보여줍니다
Nicodemus was supposed to know and teach the OT(Old Testament) but actually he didn't know the basics of the OT.
The OT teaches us the eternal life through the Messiah.
The OT shows us that the Messiah had to suffer and die to forgive us and give a real, eternal life to us.
우리는 하나님께서 얼마만큼 우리를 용서하기 원하는지 정말 알고 있나요?
우리는 정말로 구약성경의 의미를 알고 있나요?
다시 말하지만 구약은 모세에 관해서나 하나님의 진노나 규칙들과 지식들에 관해서가 아닌
우리를 용서하시고 그분의 죽음으로 우리에게 영원한 생명을 주실 메시야에 대한 이야기로 가득합니다
이 이야기들이 구약의 기초들입니다
Do we really know how much God wants to forgive us?
Do we really know what the OT truly means?
Again, It was not about Moses, not about God's anger...not about rules and knowledge...
It's all about the Messiah who will forgive us and give us eternal life by his death.
These are the basics of the OT.
우리가 정말로 하나님의 나라를 보고 싶다면 영원한 생명과 사랑을 소유하기 원한다면
우리는 예수님께서 우리같은 죄인들을 대신해서 죽음으로
세상의 죄를 가져가신 분이심을 알아야만 합니다
예수님의 죽으심과 다시 살아나심의 이유를 알아야만 합니다
If we really want to see the kingdom of God, If we really want to have eternal life and love,
we have to know that Jesus is the one who takes away the sin of the world
by dying instead of sinners like us.
We have to know the reason Jesus died and rose again.
영원한 생명은 당신이 얼마나 열심히 규칙들을 지키는가가 아니고
얼마나 많은 성경의 내용들을 암기했는가도 아닙니다
영원한 생명은 메시야를 알고 신뢰하는 가입니다
영원한 생명은 하나님께서 사랑하시는 그 아들을 통한 그분과의 친밀한 관계입니다
Eternal life is not about how hard you keep the rules.
It' not about how many Bible verses you memorize.
But it's about knowing and trusting the Messiah.
Eternal life is about the close relationship with God through His beloved Son.
Eternal life is not about us but all about God and His Son.
메사야를 신뢰함이 당신을 다시 태어나게 합니다
당신 자신-지식, 명예, 노력-을 신뢰함이 아닙니다
얼마나 좋은 소식인가요!
우리는 하나님의 동기가 무엇인지 알아야만 합니다
그분은 우리를 죄를 지적하셔서 우리를 멸망시키기 원치 않으십니다
오히려 우리를 용서하고 영원히 사랑하기 원하십니다
Faith in the Messiah makes you born again.
Not faith in yourself-your knowledge, your fame, your hardwork
What the Good News we have!
We have to know what the motive of G is.
He doesn't want to point out our sins and destroy us
but wants to forgive us and wants to love us forever.
우리는 그분을 신뢰하나요?
Do we trust Him?
그분의 동기를 기억하고 있나요?
Do we remember His motive?
우리의 하나님은 좋은 하나님이신가요?
Our G is a good God?
그분의 사랑을 잊는다면 우리는 끝내 죽어서 영원히 멸망할 것입니다
If we forget His love, we'll end up dead and be destroyed eternally.
하나님만을 사랑하세요
Love God alone.
절대로 그분의 좋은 의도를 사탄과 아담처럼 의심하지 마세요 그들은 하나님을 나쁜 하나님으로 믿었죠
Never ever doubt God's good motive like Satan and Adam. They thought of God as a bad God.
때때로 하나님께서 우리로 사막같은 힘든 시간들을 지나가게 하십니다
그 사실이 그분께서 우리를 잊으시거나 미워하신다는 뜻은 아닙니다
그분께서는 우리가 어려운 시간들 속에서 얼마나 그분을 사랑하고 변치 않고 따르는지 알고 싶어하십니다
하나님을 향해 참지 못하고 불평하지 마세요
Sometimes God lets us go through hard times like a desert.
That doesn't mean that He forgets us or hates us.
That means He wants to know how much we love Him even in hard times and how faithfully we follow Him.
Don't become impatient and complain against God.
예레미야는 그의 애가 3:32-33에서 말합니다
"그분께서 (우리의 죄 때문에) 엄청난 고난을 허락하시지만 그분의 변치않는 사랑 때문에 안타까와 하십니다
창조주께서는 근심과 고통을 주심을 즐기지 않으십니다
어떤 상황에서도 우리가 계속 그분의 동기를 신뢰한다면 반드시 그분과 영원히 사랑하며 살게 될 것입니다
그분을 사랑함과 신뢰함이 영원한 생명입니다!
Jeremiah says in lamentation 3:32-33
"He causes a lot of suffering (because of our sins), but he also has compassion because of his unfailing love.
The Lord doesn't enjoy sending grief or pain.
If we keep trusting His motive under any conditions, we will surely live with Him in love eternally.
TRUSTING & LOVING HIM IS ETERNAL LIFE!!!
