Deep Purple의 엄청난 디스코그라피에서도
단연 손꼽히는 명곡.
항상 Deep Purple에 대해서는
'좋은 노래만 좋고, 앨범 전체를 들을게 못된다'고
생각했다.(이제와서 인정하지만, 나의 심한 편식 탓이다.ㅠ)
이 앨범이 그들이 10번쨰 앨범이라는 사실이 놀라울 뿐이다.
(68년도에 결성되었는데!)
여담이지만
이 곡을 듣다보면, 베이스인 글렌 휴즈에게
노래를 시켜봤으면 어땠을까 하는 생각이 든다.
왜 휴즈의 코러스가 커버데일의 보컬보다 더
좋게 들리는 것일까.;;
