어린 아이였을 때
우린 크리스마스 아침과 우리가 발견하게 될

많은 선물들과 인형들을 꿈꿉니다.

하지만 한 아기가 어느 축복받은 밤에

우리의 삶에서 가장 훌륭한 선물을 주기위해

태어난 것에 대해 결코 깨닫지 못했습니다.
그리고... 우리 때문에 그가 그의 생명을 주셨습니다.

우리 때문에..
그가 고통받고, 죽임을 당해야 했습니다.

길을 잃은 세상에 그가 줄수 있는 전부를 주기위해..
우리에게 살아야할 이유를 보여주기 위해.....

세월이 흘러감에 따라 우리는 선물에 대해

더 많은 것을 배우게 됐습니다.
그리고 나 자신을 드리는 것에 대한 의미를, 그리고....

어느 어둡고 구름이 잔뜩 낀날에 한남자가 빗속에서

울부짖으며 매달려야만 했던 이유를
사랑 때문에... 사랑 때문에...

그리고 우리 때문에 그가 그의 생명을 주셨습니다.
우리때문에(나 때문에) 그가 고통을 받으며 죽어야 했습니다.

길을 잃은 세상에 그가 줄 수 있는

모든 것을 주기위해 우리에게(나에게)
살아가야할 이유를 보여주기 위해..

마침내! 나는 살아갈 이유를 찾았습니다.

그것은 나의 마음의 모든부분을 그분께 드리는 것입니다.
내가 하는 모든 행동속에서, 내가 하는 모든 말들 속에서,
나는 나의 모든 것을 오직 그 분을 위해서 드릴 것입니다.
우리 때문에 그분이 그의 생명을 주셨습니다.

그가 고통 당하시고 죽어야 했던 이유는 오직 "우리" 때문입니다.
길을 잃어버린 세상에 그가 줄 수 있는

마지막 그 마지막 남은 모든 것을 주기위해
나에게 살아가야할 이유를 보여주기 위해

그리고 그가 나의 삶의 이유입니다.......
