서울 중구에 소재한 인테리어가구 피카소는 최근 라탄가구 및 철재가구를 수입하여 판매를 준비중이다. 2006년 하반기, 국내에 새로운 컨셉의 디자인가구 십여 종류를 선 보인다.  등나무, 쥬트섬유, 리아나, 물푸레나무 등 열대외래종 자연소재와 인공소재의 적절한 조합으로 조개모양, 밤모양, 원형, 라운드 등의 자연친화적인 디자인을 이루고 있다. 디자인은 상반된 두 소재[매끄럽고 거친표면, 부드럽고 단단한 소재]를 사용함에도 불구하고 조화를 이루고, 그런 어울림속에서 만들어진 가구들은 공예품과 같이 하우스나 다양한 공간에 자연친화적인 느낌으로 다가와 분위기를 돋군다.
