어렸을적,
TV에서 흘러나오는 이 노래를 들었다.
아주 우연히,
비록 알아듣지는 못하였지만,
TV속에서 열창하는 저 가수를 보면서,
웅장하게 들려오는 이 노래를 듣고서,
가슴속 응어리가 녹아내리는 느낌을 받았다.
세월이 지나고 알게되었다.
어렸던 나의 마음을 울렸던 가수가,
QUEEN 이였다는 것을.
나는 다시 이 가수를 찾으려고 했다.
하지만 그는 이미 세상에 없었다.
아쉬웠다.
처음으로 내게 '음악' 이라는것을 알려준 가수가,
내가 진정 원할때 그를 볼 수 없었다는것이,
하지만 그는 아직 죽지 않았다.
지금도 내 마음 깊숙한 곳에서
종종 노래를 불러주곤 하니까 ...
