science is needed to see accurately so she did her best in combination with a thorogh knowledge of statistics to describe the morbidity and mortality in regional areas which could be enough to show us nursing as one of science.
Nightingle defines the meaning of health as both the absence of disease and the use of personal power .health is the opposite of disease and with the broader wellness paradigm. she say that people have lots of experiences from their own lives , which influences the person's status and if give education , people could seek their real health from experience of education.
she see disease as a reparative process, an effort on the part of the body to seek some harmony and to gain some spiritual perspective.
NIGHTINGALE'S HOLISTIC VIEW OF PEOPLE
the most important thing to her is the spiritual imension. she viewed a person as a system of sum of physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual thing. she say that all are equal , there are never differences although people has diffrent birth rate, social class or biologic diffrences. furthermore it is said that nurse's attitude for patients is very predominate. whoever they are , nurse should serve them as equal and precious. there is unique interpersonalship that the nurse has with his or her patient to influence health.
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND HEALTH
To noghtingale, environment is central. It serves as a key factor in preventing diseases and in restirong health when disease has occurred.that is , a person's health or illness was a result of the environmental influences on hom or her. it can be ovserved by nightingale's story at the Crimean War . she realized the importance of experimental elements in surroundings around soldials and made an effort to clean them. there are five elenents of the environment in relation tho health on which she empahisis include cleanliness, light,pure water , and efficient drainge.
her foucus on environment has attributed to public health nursing and the more contemporary focus on public health policy nowadays.
PROCESS AND CONTENT OF KNOWING IN NURSING
For nightingle, nursing is a calling , a vocation . she expected that nursed would know in murtiple ways ; by applying scientific principles, by observing the laws of nature , and by caring for the patients who required assistance in restoring their health.
