한국 프로야구 사상 처음으로 '몸에 맞는 시구'가 나왔다.
19일 부산 사직 경기에서 시구자로 나선 윤형배 롯데 재활코치가
시타자로 나온 공필성 롯데 수비코치를 맞히는 해프닝을 연출한 것.
프로야구 초유의 '몸에 맞는 시구'는
두 코치가 사전모의한 것이 아닌, '우연의 결과'로 밝혀졌다.
시구 후 윤 코치는 "스트라이크를 던지려고 했는데 제구가 안 됐다"고 말했다.
더욱 대단한 것은 공 코치의 코멘트.
선수 시절 허슬플레이의 원조격인 공 코치는
"피할 수도 있었지만 피하지 않았다. 난 현역에도 그러지 않았다"라고 자랑스럽게 말했다.
