물론이죠, 앨범을 하나 낼 때마다 항상 그래요.
음악업계는 그 누구도 짐작할 수 없다는 점에서 재미있어요.
이미 성공했다고 해도 앨범을 또 낼 때에 사람들이 그런 음악을
별로 좋아해 주지 않는다면 아무런 도움도 안 돼요.
때문에 앨범을 내는건 언제나 두렵고 사람들의 사랑을 보장할 수도 없어요.
그래서 후보에 오르는 것은 영광이에요. 경력이 길어질 수록 점점 어려워 지거든요.
어쩌면 초기보다 지금이 더 의미가 있다고 할 수도 있겠죠.
Absolutely, every time you do an album.
This industry is so crazy because you never know.
It doesn't matter how successful you are, you can do an album
and people can just be not feeling that type of music at that time.
So it's always scary and it's never guaranteed that people are gonna appericiate those.
For me it's an honor. And it get's harder and harder that the longer you had a career.
So It means even more, yeah.

And you have somehow managed to stay so sweet and so real.
And how do you stay grounded in this business?
음, 제 주변엔 제게 진실만을 말해주는 진실된 사람들이 있어요.
그리고 정직성을 갖는 것은 정말 중요하죠.
Well, I have real people around me that's telling me the truth.
And it's very important to have honesty.
- 가족도요, 그렇죠?
And family, right?
가족들도 물론 중요하죠.
And family, definately.
- 당신 가족들은 어떻게 당신을 지적하나요?
How do they keep you online, your family?
그냥 말해줘요. 우리는 좋은 관계를 갖고 있고 서로에게 정직해요. 저는 그들을 믿구요.
언제나 의견이 맞아 떨어지는 것은 아니지만
우린 서로를 사랑하고 서로를 믿어요.
They tell me. We have a great relationship, we're honest to each other and I trust them.
And obviously we don't agree on everything but you know, we have,
we love each other and we trust each other.
- 파파라치 이야기로 넘어가 보죠. 그들은 언제나 당신을 따라다니고
파파라치 사진들이 항상 잡지에 올라오죠.

Now, as far as the paparazzi, they're always following you.
And there's always these pictures in the magazines.
How do you handle that? Do you, first of all, let me ask you this.
When you're on a boat somewhere and it shows up in the magazine,
are you like how the heck did they get that? or do you see that cameras out there?
음, 카메라는 전혀 못 봤어요.
Uh, we never see the cameras.

나무 뒤나 어디에 숨겨놓기 때문에, 볼 수조차 없는 걸요.
정말 묘한게 놀러 나와 엄마에게 전화를 걸었는데 엄마가
"어, 다 알아. 너 모자도 썼었고, 이거 입었고, 이거 했잖아." 라시는 거에요.
글쎄 제가 뭘 하고 있는지 알려드리려는데 "다 알아." 하고 먼저 말씀하시더라니까요.
모두들 "응, 난 너와 휴가를 즐기고 온 거나 다름없어.
이미 다 봤는걸." 이라니까 정말 때로는 소름이 끼치기도 해요.
그치만 휴식을 취하러 왔을 때는 아무 것도 보고 싶지도, 알고 싶지도 않아요.
그냥 생각하기도 싫어요. 그 때만큼은 그저 제 스스로 즐기고 싶어요.
남들이 사진찍는 걸 생각하고 신경쓰기 보다는 말이죠.
They're hidden in the tree somewhere or you know, we never see it.
It's always crazy because I called my mother when I was on vacation
and she's like, "Oh yeah I see. I see your hat on this, and you wore that,
and you did this." I'm trying to tell her what I'm doing, she's like, "I know."
And everyone's like, "Oh yeah, we've been on vacation with you, we could see everything."
It's really kinda scary, and when I'm on vacation, I don't wanna see it.
I don't wanna know, I don't wanna think about it. Cuz I wanna enjoy myself,
I wanna have the, you know, think about people taking pictures

And worry about if your bathing suit's sitting right.
맞아요. 정말 무서운건 어딜 가든지 외모에 신경을 써야 한다는 거에요.

you have to make sure you're presentable. Because you never know.
