달콤한 영국밴드 럭키 소울(Lucky Soul)은 밴드의 전체 송라이팅을 담당하는 앤드류 레이들로(Andrew Laidlaw: guitar)와 나다니엘 L. 퍼킨스(Nathaniel L. Perkins: drums), 토비 포겔(Toby Fogell: bass), 이보르 심즈(Ivor Sims: guitar), 말콤 영(Malcolm Young: keyboard), 그리고 화제의 보컬리스트 알리 하워드(Ali Howard: vocals)로 구성되었다. 이들은 현재 엄청난 인기를 구가하고 있는 고! 팀(The Go! Team)의 레이블 메이트인 여성 삼인조 레트로 팝 그룹 피펫츠(The Pipettes)의 오프닝으로 데뷔하게 되는데 싱글 가 영국 유명 일간지인 가디언(The Guardian)이 선정한 ‘이 주의 싱글’로 선정되며 본격적으로 알려지게 되었다. 특히 정규앨범 발매 전에 공개된 싱글 은 BBC 제 1 라디오의 디제이 콜린 머레이(Colin Murray)가 선정한 2006년 최고의 싱글 20위에 랭크되기도 했다.
