사단법인 세계해동검도연합회 핀란드 협회에서 주관한 해동검도 행사는 작지만 알찬 행사 였던것 같다. 2008년 3월 7일 부터 3월 12일까지 연이어진 행사는 핀란드 수도인 헬싱키에서 많은 무술인들과 일반인들에게 한국의 문화를 알리고, 해동검도를 알리는 중요한 행사이었다. 이번의 행사는 아일랜드로 이어졌고, 5월 3일과 4일에는 스웨덴에서 발대식과 더불은 많은 행사들이 펼쳐질 예정이다. 스웨덴 스톡홀롬에서 오픈될 해동검도 행사에는 아일랜드, 핀란드,외 기타 각 국에서 해외시범단들이 참석하여 그 자리를 한층 더 빛낼 것으로 예상된다.

This Official Haedong Kumdo Seminar was first introduced at Helsinki in Finland at Indoors Gym with very good facility with the attendance and guidence of Kim, Jeong Seong, the president of United World Haedong Kumdo Federation. Many kinds of people in the martial arts had participated and really enjoyed in this seminar during the above period.
This event of first day on 13th March 2008 was started with a brief greeting of Chong Jae Kim as Haedong Kumdo Demonstration is being shown by Instructor Mika and Johaness, who is spreading HK in Finland as a President and Rep. of this country.
It was very important, remakable seminars to make many people in Finland inform and enjoy Haedong Kumdo as a first event officially in Finland.
As achieving a great results of HK seminar in Finland, it was brought out to the Ireland.
HK Seminars In Ireland from 12th to 16th March 2008 was also given rise to make many people happy and motivate to train Haedong Kumdo.
